Jane is a native of Randolph County and has worked over 20 years in corporate America with Fortune 400 companies such as Digital Equipment and Prime Computer as Regional Administrative Manager at both companies. After returning to North Carolina, Jane served 6 years as the Randolph Cancer Center Administrator. She attended Middlesex Community College majoring in both business and marketing with continuing studies through the American Management Association.
Jane holds dear to her heart the senior citizens within her community and spends time daily at the Randolph County Senior Adult Center assisting them with their daily questions.
Jane is a secretary and finance officer for Mitchell United Methodist Church and the financial reporting officer for both St. Mark UMC and Cox Chapel. She is active in the Asheboro/Randolph community with several organizations such as the George Washington Carver Community Enrichment Center where she is the secretary. She is a board member of Rhinoleap Productions. She also serves as the political action chair for the NAACP where she works with civic and community issues looking to bring balance to Randolph County through education, Medicaid expansion, and transparency.
Jane and her husband Albert are parents to four children: Amanda, Lea, Amy, and Michael.
